Watercolor Transfer Project
This week I worked on my watercolor project. This project was fun and interesting. We started by picking one of the photoshop projects that we created and adjusted the size and reflected it so it would print right. After we printed the paper we ripped a piece of watercolor paper in half and began to paint a design on it. After the paint dried, we lay the paper facing downwards on the watercolor and brushed a thick layer of modge podge on the paper until you could see the ghost image of your picture. We made sure the bubbles were out of the paper by using the squeegee. Then we let it dry for a day. The next day we rubbed water on the paper to get rid of the paper so the ink would transfer. My first picture didn't turn out too good but my second picture looked good. I think my water color design turned out well and the second print turned out good. I struggled with rubbing the paper off because it hurt my fingers and it was hard to get all the fuzz off. Overall this was a good project and I would definitely do it again.
